We match the lesson to the student's course, current work, goals, and time zone.

    Direct answer

A humanities tutor for the student’s actual subject

This page is the starting point for Bespoke Learning’s online humanities and social-science tutoring. We support legitimate IB and AP courses including History, Geography or Human Geography, Global Politics, Psychology, and Economics, with exact availability confirmed during educator matching.

The disciplines share useful habits—evidence selection, interpretation, evaluation, and clear writing—but they are not interchangeable. A strong history argument, geographic case study, political analysis, psychological evaluation, and economic judgment each require different concepts and evidence.

What strong humanities students learn to control

    Concepts

Use disciplinary ideas as analytical tools rather than adding terminology after the fact.

    Evidence

Choose specific sources, studies, data, or cases and explain exactly how they support the point.

    Perspective

Represent competing explanations and stakeholder views accurately before evaluating them.

    Judgment

Reach a qualified answer that reflects the question, evidence, scale, context, and limits.

A good fit for students who…

    • study one or more essay, source, case-study, or evidence-based subjects
    • know content but receive feedback that answers are descriptive or unfocused
    • need help identifying the right specialist within the wider humanities offer
    • want coordinated support for subject work, an IA, an EE, or exam preparation

    Our approach

From uncertainty to an independent next step

The exact lesson changes by student. The underlying process stays clear, practical, and accountable.

    1. 01

      Confirm the discipline

We identify the exact course, level, cohort, topics, and assessment type before matching an educator.

    2. 02

      Diagnose through real work

A recent essay, source task, data response, or plan reveals whether the main gap is knowledge, reasoning, evidence, or structure.

    3. 03

      Practise independently

The educator models a decision, guides practice, and asks the student to transfer it to a new course-appropriate task.

Yes. Students practise question reading, thesis development, paragraph logic, evidence selection, analysis, evaluation, and conclusions using the conventions of their particular subject.

Can one educator tutor several humanities subjects?+

Sometimes, but subject depth matters. We may recommend one educator with a suitable overlap or separate specialists when the courses require different knowledge and assessment expertise.
